Teachers and Students Collaborating Worldwide

Literacy Week and Dr. Seuss's Birthday!

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all involved in Literacy Week; especially today as we celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday (March 2nd).

We have been very busy involving our students in Literacy Week as you can see from the photo below.

Even if you are too busy or low on funds you can wear a "shirt you can read" this week. Encourage your students to wear T-shirts with inspirational messages and read them out loud!

This is a very important week for most of us in the Cafe. Because of our professions, we are all obliged to stress the importance of reading to our students; especially our struggling students.

Please share your inspirational stories and photos with us in the cafe. You may give someone an idea or an inspiration and we can keep the cause of literacy strong and moving forward!

Upload your photos in the slide show photo box on the home page and post your stories in the blog sections or your individual groups.
