Chapter 10 post

Chapter 10 was very informational and included a lot about Public education. The definition for Public Education is an education that is publicly financed, tuition-free, accountable to public authorities, and accessible to all students. The section of Chapter 10 that I enjoyed the most was the section on creating a teaching portfolio.  For so long I have been confused on how to create my portfolio and what essential elements need to be included. Developing a portfolio is an amazing way to…See More

Thristy for more Information

My name is Jessica Dills and I am a freshman here at SCF. I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education, but I eventually want to become an art teacher for elementary school students. Art and children are my passion so I couldn't be more excited to combine the two and turn it into my dream job and become an elementary school art teacher. This job title is very specific so it has been challenging to figure out the best course I should take in order to reach my…

A Step in the Right Direction

Because this job title is very specific, I wasn’t sure of the direction I should take. My main concern was to make sure that the direction I did choose would benefit me in the…
